How The CGB System
Principles and Purpose and Process
Build a Learning Foundation.

My experience with learning has shown me that when I understand the principles and purpose and process of something, I have a better chance of understanding – learning – it.

I’ve never been good with rote memory; but, getting down to the basics of something opens the door to grasping its meaning and how it can be used – or not – in my life. Applying this way of learning throughout my life has assisted me in expanding my knowledge and helped me be a better teacher and therapist.

Everyone does not learn the same way. But, there are basics to use to start knowledge expansion. They are the foundation of Career Growth Basics. A career growth system that honors individual needs by placing the user in charge of outcomes.

Although the word basics is emphasized a great deal, there should be no mistake in thinking that The CGB System is a “quick fix” for career advancement.

The work of The CGB System is self-reflection. Stories and questions and examples guide the user through self-evaluation to determine strengths to use to design and create a career growth plan based on:

  • Individual principles.
  • Individual purpose.
  • Individual process.

Or, put simply….Career Growth Basics guides the user through a process that looks at

  • Who you are.
  • What you want.
  • How to get there.

Repetition is another tool that is part of my learning process. So, let’s review the principles and purpose and process of The CGB System.
